Album Info:Union Pacific Railroad's "Challenger" No. 3985, the world's largest operating steam locomotive, traveled through 8 states on its way to Houston where it was on display during the Super Bowl XXXVIII activities. The train broke down in St. Louis due to water freezing in a pipe in the boiler. We had planned to chase the train from St. Louis, MO to Bernie, MO on January 18, 2004. We did view it on Public Display in STL. Due to it being delayed 4 days until January 22, 2004, I was unable to take off from school for the chase. I was allowed to leave early to go see it come through a town 20 miles from mine and into Bernie, MO for the night. A special thanks to my dad and grandpa for taking me to see it, and UP and the UP Steam Crew for making it happen.
