| Album Info: | On a last minute trip to the Outer Banks my wife & I stopped by Cape Charles, Va on the southern tip of the Delmarva peninsula. Cape Charles is the home of the Bay Coast RR and northern terminus of one of the last RR car floats in the US. As luck always seems to have it the day was cloudy with rain in the form of drizzle threatening. The yard is right in the middle of town, in fact it occupies some prime real-estate facing onto Mason Ave the 'Main St.' As it turns out I was in luck, the railroad was doing a bit of switching! /DL |
