Class V-10 (VL-10) wagons entered service between 1976 and 1982 and are goods guard's vans that used to run at the end of goods trains. Side A is the stove side and the cabin layout is, from left, a seat on each side next to a wall periscope, a stove on the A side and a toilet on the B side. The yellow arrow indicates the rotary coupler end. The use of guard's vans ceased in the 1980's.Number range 90 501 217 (this one) to 90 501 594 (1976 to 1978) and 90 503 902 to 90 504 003 (1982), Length between couplers 10.130m, Length over headstocks 9.004m, Length between bogie pivot centres 6.244m, Height 3.516m, Width 2.450m (over solebars) and 2.970m (over side lamps), Tare (average) 18,890kg. |
