Description:  Class SM-8 (SMLJ-8, SM-20, SMJ-20, SMLJ-20) wagons entered service between 1974 and 1975 and were converted from Class OZ-12 in 1988. They are flat wagons with solid decks and flip-over twistlocks designed to transport 8 x 5ft, 4 x 10ft, 2 x 20ft or 1 x 40ft containers. Most have buffers to prevent container doors from being opened (absent on this one).
