Description:  Class NAY-6 (AY-6) wagons entered service in 1957. They are open hoppers designed to transport ballast. Since they are in non-revenue service, they are all gradually being relettered to Class NAY. The Type 2 wagons have their channel iron side braces mounted with the lip sides facing inwards.
