Class SH-5 (SHL-5, SHJ-5, SHL-6, SHJ-6) wagons entered service between 1976 and 1980 and are flat wagons with open beam decks and retractable twistlocks designed to transport 4 x 10ft, 2 x 20ft or 1 x 40ft containers. Most have buffers to prevent container doors from being opened (absent on this one).
