Description:
Class AZ-6 (AZD-6, AZJ-6, AZLJ-6) wagons entered service in 1968. They are open hoppers designed to transport iron ore. The as built wagons have riveted loading bins. Most were later rebuilt with high sided welded loading bins. The type 1 wagons have platform mounted brake wheels.
Number range 67 037 003 to 67 041 388, Length between couplers 12.772m, Length over headstocks 11.888m, Length between bogie pivot centres 8.230m, Height 2.600m, Width 2.261m, Tare (average) 21,050kg, Load 53,000kg, Capacity 28.84m3.
