Description:  Class SM-10 (SMJ-10, SMLJ-10, SM-14, SMLJ-14, SM-24, SMJ-24, SMLJ-24, SMR-24) wagons entered service between 1973 and 1974 and were converted from Class FP-4 wagons in 1988. They are flat wagons with solid decks and flip-over twistlocks designed to transport 8 x 5ft, 4 x 10ft, 2 x 20ft or 1 x 40ft containers. Most have buffers to prevent container doors from being opened. This one wears the Transnet Freight Rail emblem.
