Description:  Class SM-11 (SMLJ-11) wagons entered service between 1971 and 1974 and were converted from Class GZ-10 wagons between 1989 and 1990. They are flat wagons with solid decks and flip-over twistlocks designed to transport 8 x 5ft, 4 x 10ft, 2 x 20ft or 1 x 40ft containers. Some have buffers to prevent container doors from being opened (absent on this one). This one wears the Transnet Freight Rail emblem.
