SAR Class FCM-2 (Side B) (Type 2)         
Class FCM-2 (FCMJ-2) wagons entered service between 1975 and 1976 and are two bay covered hoppers originally designed to transport raw sugar. They are modified Class FC-2 two bay covered hoppers converted to transport granulated products (Chloride in this case). The type 2 wagons have a roofwalk on the A side and three roof hatches. This wagon wears the Transnet Freight Rail emblem.

Number range 87 500 000 to 87 506 580, Length between couplers 15.684m, Length over headstocks 14,800m, Length between bogie pivot centres 11.900m, Height 3.787m, Width 3.000m, Sluice length (each) 3.635m, Tare (average) 22,300kg, Load 44,000kg, Capacity 58m3.
