SAR Class CS-1 (Side A) (Type 2)         
Class CS-1 (CSJ-1) wagons entered service in 1968 and are open wagons originally designed to transport sugar cane. Some have end ladders and several have canvas stowing hooks on the B side. The type 2 wagons have thin upper side edges and both channel iron (three) and T iron (six) side braces. This one wears the Transnet Freight Rail emblem.
