Class CA-6 (CAJ-1, CAJ-6, CALJ-6) wagons entered service between 1968 and 1973 and were converted from Class BA-1 wagons at some time after 1991. They are later versions of the Class CA-1 wagon, but with all but two of the side braces now made of channel iron instead of T iron. Like the Class CA-1 to CA-5 wagons, they have two V shaped brake system brackets on each side.
