This Deluxe Carriage was originally built as a Type C-3 A Carriage for the Blue Train with an interior layout of, from the left, a passenger’s toilet, a storage cupboard, two compartments to sleep two plus one each, two coupes to sleep one each, two compartments to sleep two plus one each, a passenger’s shower and a passenger’s toilet. After a collision at Deelfontein on 26 October 2005 it was rebuilt into a Deluxe coach with, from the left, a butler’s cabin, three twin bed suites with en-suite showers and toilets, and one double bed suite with an en-suite bath and toilet.
