SAR Class XC-10 (Side B)         
Class XC-10 (XCJ-10) wagons entered service between 1966 and 1967 as Class XT-10, designed to transport tar. In 1983 they were converted to Class XC-10 to transport creosote and similar products (Diesel in this case). They are fitted with steam/flame heating elements.

Number range 32 015 003 to 32 015 267, Length between couplers 13.380m, Length over headstocks 12.496m, Length between bogie pivot centres 9.144m, Height 3.950m, Width 2.515m, Tank diameter 1.972m, Tare (average) 26,040kg, Load 31,130kg, Capacity 29,650l (full) or 29,650l (creosote).
