SAR Class FKM-1 (Side A) (Type 2)         
Class FKM-1 (FKMJ-1) wagons entered service between 1958 and 1959 and are reclassified Class FK-1 wagons. They are covered hoppers designed to transport soda ash. Loading is done through four roof hatches. The type 2 wagons have a ladder on one end and the roofwalk on the B side.
