SAR Class B-6 (Side A) (Type 2)         
Class B-6 (BJ-6) wagons entered service between 1943 and 1968 and are open wagons with two doors on each side, designed to transport general goods. They are modified and reclassified B-1, B-2 and B-3 wagons that had their small upper side doors replaced with welded in sections. The type 2 wagons have thin upper side edges and channel iron side braces.
