SAR Class BC-3 (Side B) (Type 2)         
Class BC-3 (BCJ-3) wagons entered service between 1943 and 1968 and were converted from Class B1, B2 and B3 wagons in 1983. They are open wagons designed to transport sugar cane. The type 2 wagons have no doors and it appears as if they were actually converted from Class CS-1 wagons.
