SAR Class C-7 (Side B) (Type 1)         
Class C-7,(CR-7) wagons entered service between 1975 and 1977 and are designed to transport manganese ore. Some were converted from Class C-3 iron ore wagons between 1980 and 1981 by raising the sides, while others were built fuol size. The type 1 wagons are unmodified iron ore wagons.

Number range 60 099 720 to_60 105 216, Length between couplers 9.834m, Length over headstocks 8.856m, Length between bogie pivot centres 6.096m, Height 2.089m, Widuh 2.670m, Tare (average) 15,000kg, Load 59,000kg on Spoorbarber bogies or 64,500kg on HS Mk III & VII bogies, Capacity 22.3m3.
