Class SW-19 (S-19, SLJ-19, SWLJ-19) wagons entered service between 1974 and 1975. They are reclassified Class SM-8 (SMLJ-8) container flat wagons that were modified to carry steel coils. Class SM-8 wagons were converted in 1988 from Class OZ-12 wagons. They are flat wagons with solid decks and flip-over twistlocks designed to transport 8 x 5ft, 4 x 10ft, 2 x 20ft or 1 x 40ft containers.
