Title:  Locomotive preparation
Description:  All locomotives pass though the shops before being dispatched on a return trip to Sishen. Before the window cleaner starts work on Class 9E E9006, he attaches a monkey chain (a nylon strap in this case) to one of the grabs above the windscreens - it's about four metres down to the shop floor!

The Series 1 and Series 2 Class 9Es can be visually distinguished from each other by their bogies, which were redesigned for the Series 2 locomotives.
