SAR Caboose (Type 4, Side B)
This caboose is retired and serving as a yard office, apparently for a foreman of few words. Cabooses are used as living quarters, usually for personnel on tasks away from home at places without suitable accommodation. Even though they are always painted in passenger car livery, they usually run as part of goods trains. Side B is the passage side and this model has two doors on this side, with a conductor's periscope.

SAR Type ZO-4, Length over headstocks 44' 0", Height 12' 1 5/16", Width 9' 2 3/8".
