| Class D-2 (DJ-2, DLJ-2) wagons entered South African Railways service between 1973 and 1978 and are dropside open wagons designed to transport general goods. They were converted from Class DZ-10 and DZA-10 in 1979 and from Class DZ-10 between 1977 and 1978. Some were inherited by TransNamib (the Namibian Railways) upon that country's independence in 1990.
