SAR Class XV-1 (Side B)         
Class XV-1 (XVJ-1) wagons entered service between 1955 and 1963 and are designed to transport liquid petroleum gas and propane (Liquid petroleum gas in this case). When undergoing a major service many tank wagons are now being equipped with a new all round the turret walkway, like on this wagon.
