SAR Caboose (Type 2, Side A)         
This caboose was repainted in SAR livery, but with the gray somewhat darker than it should have been. Cabooses are used as living quarters, usually for personnel on tasks away from home at places without suitable accommodation. Even though they are always painted in passenger car livery, they usually run as part of goods trains. Side A is the compartment side and this model has one door on this side, with no vestibule. The interior layout is, from the left, a kitchen, a two-bed coupe and storage, a shower and toilet, a two-bed coupe, a four-bed compartment, and a store room.
