SAR Blue Train A Carriage, Side B         
This A Carriage was originally built as a Type C-3 carriage for the Blue Train with an interior layout of, from the right, a passenger’s toilet, a storage cupboard, two compartments to sleep two plus one each, two coupes to sleep one each, two compartments to sleep two plus one each, a passenger’s shower and a passenger’s toilet. After a collision at Deelfontein on 26 October 2005 it was rebuilt into a Deluxe coach with, from the right, a butler’s cabin, three twin bed suites with en-suite showers and toilets, and one double bed suite with with an en-suite bath and toilet. Side B is the passage side. In the 2005 Set 751 it was no. 16 in the train.
SAR Type C-3. Number range 8007 to 8010. Built in 1972. Length over headstocks 20.320m. Height 3.912m. Width 2.896m.
