Namibia Class SM-1 (Side A)         
Class SM-1 (SMJ-1, SMLJ-1, SM-16, SMJ-16, SMLJ-16) wagons entered service on the South African railways between 1985 and 1987. Some were inherited by TransNamib (the Namibian Railways) upon that country's independence in 1990. They are flat wagons with solid decks and retractable twistlocks designed to transport 8 x 5ft, 4 x 10ft, 2 x 20ft or 1 x 40ft containers.
