Class NPS-3 wagons entered service in 1975. They are usually designed to carry rail lengths or welded rail, but this one carries a trolley and other equipment. It is equipped with an overhead beam, presumably to facilitate placing its trolley directly onto the track. The wagon does not display the usual 8 digit goods wagon number and the inscription on the side suggests that it is number 5 of a string of special purpose wagons.Length between couplers 14.784m, Length over headstocks 13,900m, Length between bogie pivot centres 11.000m, Deck height 1.070m, Width 2.426m, Tare 17,000kg, Load 42,000kg. |
