This is a first and second class composite baggage-van, one of two built in 1930. Its interior layout is, from left, a first class compartment, toilets on both sides of a short passage with an interconnecting door to a second class compartment, a baggage compartment with two double doors on each side, and the conductor's cabin.SAR Type U-27, Built 1930, Number range 7106 and 7107, Length over headstocks 60' 0 1/2", Height 12' 0 13/16", Width 9' 1 3/4", To seat 14 1st Class and 25 2nd Class passengers. |
